...I'll start being a writer again when you all stop giving me your money.
In 7 days, over 100 of the retractable iPod cables have sold. I'm on my 3rd shipment now. They're cool, aren't they?
In other cable news, I added a few mini USB (5-pin) retractable cables to the store. They can be used to sync/connect about thirty billion devices, and they can charge quite a few things that I know of: Creative MP3 players (I believe), a bunch of newer phones including the Motorola RAZR and the new Cingular 8125 I just got today.
Just today I got in something I was pretty shocked to find from the distributor where I get the cables from: 9v iPod chargers. I didn't know these things even existed, and apparently nobody else does either because they aren't carried in stores, I guess they're brand new.
While you could say it's kind of a "competitor", I've decided to carry them for all the people who want a 9v USB charger just for their iPod and/or don't think they can handle building the kit from scratch. Judging from some of the emails I've gotten, I'd say a good lot of people who've ordered kits aren't technical enough to power through the instructions to make a working kit. This is for them.
They're only $8.50, and they're small enough that they can fit on your keychain (thus the included keychain and hook clip).
