The Great iPod Giveaway 2006

Alright, honkeys, here's the deal. I love giveaways, and I've always wanted some reason to have one of my very own. For a little over a year I've been considering having some kind of "get people to link to me and win some prize" contest, but my site was never really that interesting. Now I've got a store, and some kind of measureable goal-based incriment thereby (people buying stuff) for which I can springboard my life-long goal of giving stuff away.
So, I'm doing that. Check out the details here!
The short version is, buying something from my store between now and May 1st enters you into a drawing to win a 2GB iPod Nano. On top of that, the person who refers the most sales to my site by May 1st wins a 30GB Video iPod.
I'm not joking.
I set up a system just today, where when you make a purchase from the store you're asked for referral information. If you tell someone to come here, and they buy something, and they enter your username as the referral, you get credit for that referral. Whoever does that the most wins the 30GB iPod. I'm such a giver!

dont you want to have a minimum referral requirement in order to win the iPod Video? One referral may not be worth the expense!?!

On a better note, I recently received the iPod Video as a gift and started watching Lost Season 1. Now, evertime I step on the treadmill I have a 43 minute workout. I think Lost just beat out 24 on my list of favorite shows. Anyways, the iPod Video is great - enough to make a grumpy person happy.

Lost is too pretty to watch on that little screen, methinks. I record them in high def on my tivo so I can savor every last detail.

a) Telling us who the current winner is
b) Have the 30gb loaded with lost episodes? lOl, i'm way behind...Not that i think i'll win- but hey!
And would you be in anyway against me paying people to refer me?
And finally!!....Lol, if its under 20 at the last day i'm buying 30 chargers and refering myself. Could i do that =)?

The current winner is.. nobody. Nobody is linking or referring. I gues they want me to keep the ipod for myself.

I don't have enough friends that it would be worth me refering them. They aren't really hands on people either. And I am still having problems getting to the store. I can't figure out the cookies problem...
